The staff made the stay especially easy. They were kind and helpful even though I don't speak Spanish, and made sure I had what I needed. My room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, a welcome place to unwind after a day out. Siente Tulum Hotel & Cenote Club sits right across from the Tulum Ruins, with the beach and ruins both within walking distance, so I didn't need a taxi. The rooftop has a sweeping rainforest view, and parking was easy and felt safe. For a 4-star hotel, the price was surprisingly low for the quality and location. I was very happy with the balance of comfort, convenience, and value.

The cenote is beautiful, and if you're staying at the hotel, I'd definitely visit it. Some areas of the hotel are lovely, but much of the property feels run down, almost as if it had been abandoned before. There weren't many staff around. The all-inclusive food was a real disappointment.

The rooftop restaurant and small pool have a nice view, and you can see the pyramids from up there. The hotel is right by the entrance to the Tulum archaeological site, and the beach isn't far if you're driving. Before entering the pyramids, lots of sellers will approach you. Just go all the way in and pay there. You can bring your own water and food in a container like Tupperware. Breakfast is modest, and it was almost the same each day: chicken, beef, pork, eggs, and chilaquiles. The cooks do a good job, everything tasted good, and their habanero salsa called black widow is good. My double room was okay, with comfortable beds, clean sheets, and nice pillows. The bathroom was cramped, the toilet uncomfortable, and the spacious shower had a clogged showerhead that sprayed water everywhere. There's no room fridge or nearby ice machine, so you have to ask for ice at the bar. The small A/C cooled the whole room, and there was also a fan. It's a nice place, but the hotel could use a makeover or at least some updating. It feels like it's been a while.

I had a really good stay. The staff were all friendly, and so were the other guests. It's near the essentials, including the public beach and ruins, so I highly recommend it. If you're there for work, there's a spot in the hotel where you can hold meetings.

Meals were served outside on the terrace, where insects could get to them. The food was poor, unappealing, and very limited, and we ended up covered in insect bites after our stay. Inside, there was black mold and dirt, and hygiene seemed badly neglected. We went several days without hot water, which was unacceptable. Staff weren't helpful and communication was poor. The owner came across as rude and arrogant. When we complained afterward, the hotel ignored our messages, wouldn't cooperate, and avoided taking responsibility. I strongly don't recommend this place, both for the hygiene and the way we were treated.
