The restaurant's simple breakfast came with the best coffee I've had in four weeks in Mexico, and in the evenings they serve Italian food. The large terrace is a nice spot for tea, coffee, or dinner. The lady of the house was lovely and helpful, even looking after my laundry. The different levels give the hotel a private, cozy feel, though at first glance it looks a bit rustic, and some areas outside the guest rooms seem neglected. It was a good stay for the price. At least one of the five bathrooms could use more attention and a toilet seat.

A relaxed, peaceful place for travelers, run by a friendly, down-to-earth family, and the price was excellent. It's not for princesses, but I loved it. I could also keep my small motorbike safely inside.

The hostel grounds are amazing, and the place has a beautiful atmosphere. The beds and toilets were clean, and breakfast was basic but tasty, with coffee and pancakes. We had some very loud people in the dorm making noise, and the reception staff can seem confused at times.

The only helpful thing was being offered something to protect me from mosquitoes. I didn't get the room I'd booked, and the person who greeted me left me waiting at the door for at least half an hour. It's 8-10 blocks from downtown, and the service was very bad. The worst hostal I've ever found.

The hostel is in a nice, central spot near the city center, with good warm showers, a kitchen, a fridge, lockers in every room, and close access to the shared vans, or colectivos. Romeo and his wife were really friendly and helpful. When I got sick, Romeo even took me to a nearby pharmacy to get medicine, and I'm very grateful.
