OYO Hotel Museo

We stayed for a week in this cheap, safe, friendly hotel. Check-in is in the morning around 9 or 10ish, and check-out is at 12 pm. The front desk agents were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is provided, the shower gets hot, and there’s free Wi-Fi that’s okay but comes and goes. The bed is hard, though that wasn’t a problem for me. Cable TV is available, but the channel selection isn’t good. There’s a small restaurant with good deals and delicious food. The most expensive combo is around $80 pesos, about $4 dollars. I didn’t take pictures. The ones they’ve uploaded are almost accurate, though the showers do look old.

I used to stay here often, but I honestly don’t think I’ll return. A single room costs $550 pesos, and there are better hotels in the area at that price with much better service. At this “Museum Hotel,” they give you just one towel, which you have to return to reception when you leave. They also don’t let other visitors or food delivery drivers in, so you have to go outside to meet them. In short, the service is terrible. 🫤

The hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are very small, at least to me. Customer service could be a lot better. I did love that there’s an elevator, which is a fantastic bonus for people with mobility needs.
