Crystal Inn

Parking was easy, and the location is handy. The hotel feels fairly new, with good soundproofing, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff were warm and welcoming too. I’d give Crystal Inn five stars, not two, and would stay there again if I’m in the area.

I could hear the occasional conversation in the corridor because the walls don’t block sound very well, though guests didn’t stay out there long. That was a small issue in an otherwise lovely stay at Crystal Inn Batu Pahat. The location is right by The Store, with attractions and places to eat nearby, and there’s lots of parking with a security guard on watch. The room was cosy, clean, and had useful basics like a toothbrush, shaver, and sanitary bag. I liked the welcome drinks and snacks in the lobby, the free premium ice cream, and the treats in the minibar. Breakfast had Asian and continental choices, and the fried rice with sambal was especially tasty. Staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help. It felt much closer to a four-star hotel than a two-star one, and exceeded what I expected.

Everyone, from the front desk and wait staff to security and housekeeping, greeted us with warm smiles and took great care of us. The complimentary drinks and snacks were replenished each day, which we appreciated. A relative booked our three-night stay and mentioned the recent renovation. Our room was cosy and comfortable, and we’d happily choose this hotel again on a future trip.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and free parking was a nice plus. Since the hotel is centrally located, getting around was easy. Inside, our room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The beds were very comfortable, and I especially liked having a recliner armchair to relax in after a long day. The complimentary snacks were a pleasant surprise too. Crystal Inn gave me great comfort for the price, and I’d return if I’m in the area again.
