The location made it easy to enjoy Georgetown's restaurants, street art, and shops, and having the pool and lovely breakfasts was a plus. It was also extremely clean, with the most comfortable beds we've had on our travels over the past six months. This family-owned boutique hotel has plenty of class, elegance, and style, with thoughtful little surprises each day that we noticed and appreciated. With the heat so oppressive, staying downtown and close to the older part of town really matters. We had a more than delightful stay. Thank you, and well done!

The service really stood out. Everyone was helpful and proactive without ever being a bother, and housekeeping seemed to leave or do something special each time. Breakfast was good and made to order. Noordin Mews has a creative feel and lots of character for a very reasonable price. Our room stayed cool, which was a lifesaver in the heat. I hope to come back one day.

The pool was a lovely place to swim or just relax, and we were happy to spend time at the hotel between visits to George Town's sights. It's a beautifully renovated Penang townhouse turned into a small boutique hotel, with around 16 rooms, and keeping many original features gives it a great atmosphere. The little details are done so well. Staff were efficient and respectful throughout, and the breakfasts were varied and delicious. We also liked their efforts to use local ingredients and showcase local crafts. One special mention for Rou, who went the extra mile to make our stay special. We loved it here.

Being near Komtar made it easy to explore Georgetown's alleys on foot. We forgot our swimsuits, but the pool area looked cozy and inviting. I liked relaxing in the dining room and adjoining lounge, with its books on Penang architecture, and the daily changing Asian breakfast included Teochew porridge and especially flavourful dal with prata. The prata with egg looked lovely. Personally, I would have preferred it fluffier and crisper, cooked from frozen in a dry pan with no oil, just a suggestion. We stayed six nights, and Noordin Mews made a comfortable, memorable base for discovering Penang. The heritage character is paired with thoughtful comforts, including small daily surprises in the room and refreshing L'Occitane bath amenities. Our room was spacious for two, with a comfortable bed, excellent pillows, a cozy TV lounge area, and a stylish, well-equipped bathroom. We could have used a few more hangers and ended up improvising with the furniture. The team made check-in easy. I'd checked in online beforehand, so we went straight to our room, and the front desk took time to share useful Georgetown and Penang tips for places to visit and eat. Everyone was kind and friendly, and the daily turndown was welcome after long walks. We left with more of Penang still to see, and I'd gladly return.
