The owner tried hard to offer me different rooms, but I didn't want to move every night only to run into the same poor quality. There was no compensation, so I filed a complaint through the Malaysian tribunal. The place is noisy, has bed bugs, and only seems alright at first. There aren't proper windows: they don't close well, and there's a party road nearby. The walls are so thin I could hear every word from next door. My first room smelled strongly of fresh paint. The next wasn't much better, with bed bugs and ants. The facilities need improvement. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

The location is good, close to everything, and the shared bathroom was clean. Karaoke was still audible in my room until 12 am because the soundproofing isn't very good. Still, it was good value. Sutharsan and rashid gave good service.

The food court across the street has live music at night, which was lovely during my short trip. Anyone wanting a quieter atmosphere may want to think twice. Also, remember to check out the live house bar (The Canteen At ChinaHouse) next to the hotel!

I found it affordable and comfortable, and everything was good overall. Aized and Kamran (housekeeper) were easygoing, and the person answering the phone was helpful and easy to talk to. One suggestion to improve the service: since check-in is self-service, please call customers beforehand and give them an ID number to use at check-in. That would save time, avoid holding up their vacation, and cut down the wait. Thanks to everyone.
