I only booked because it was an emergency, even though the rating was very low, and I regret it. I reserved a room around 9pm and arrived to check in at 10pm, only to be told the hotel was full and had no room for me. I asked why the platform was still open if they were full. The staff answered rudely, and I had to ask him to speak to me properly. Then he shouted, “TAK KISAH LAH,” threw a tantrum, and slammed the paper on the table. Completely unacceptable. I didn’t expect much from a 2-star hotel, but basic manners matter. Please DO NOT book this hotel.

The room was comfortable enough and clean, but it was way smaller than the pictures made it look. The wall paint was peeling and chipped, and the TV remote didn’t work. It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t stay again. The room is too small to be considered a room, no matter the price. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED, unless you’re single and desperate enough.

At least the hotel is opposite Tesco Ipoh. The room was cramped, with two queen beds squeezed in for our four-person stay, despite paying for a quad-room. There were no basic toiletries, the TV channels didn’t work, and my bedsheet had a stain or burn mark. The water heater was really noisy. They did provide towels, and I hope they were clean.

I was really upset when I saw the room. It was tiny and cramped, with a small Queen size bed. The toilet tub and hand wash basin were dirty, and the bathroom smelled. Paint was peeling off the walls too. For the price, it wasn’t worth it, way too expensive.

I stayed for 2 nights and asked for room service after the first day. There were still cigarette butts in the corner of the floor. I’m very unhappy with the stay, and wouldn’t recommend it for a business trip.
