Mood Hotel

The hotel itself is really good, but the noise made it hard to sleep. People kept slamming doors in the hallway, and two men were talking nearby. I couldn't make out what they were saying, though I thought they might be arguing.

The toilet door wouldn't shut properly, and the hot water took a while to come through. I was on the ground floor opposite the housekeeping room, where staff conversations, phone music and the sound of heavy things being carried disturbed my rest in the morning.

The location works for a short visit, and you get what you pay for, but restful sleep was out of reach. The mattress had a strong, salty, unpleasant smell, and both the room and toilet smelled bad too. There was no soundproofing at all. A loud booming noise from the bar next door continued until 3am, then from 7am I could clearly hear people talking and walking, along with doors opening and closing.

I was there from 10 to 11 May. The room was clean and the air conditioning got cold. Once all the pubs closed after 2-3am, it became very quiet. The TV had no sound, and the shower took about 5 minutes of running before the water slowly got hot. There wasn't a kettle in the room, so I had to get hot water from the lobby.
