The airport shuttle took less than five minutes. Staff in housekeeping, the concierge and the restaurant were friendly and quick to respond too. I mentioned that my flight was at 3.pm, and the manager kindly allowed me a late checkout. That gave me time for a quick room service meal and to perform jama' qasar prayer comfortably. The reception team really seemed to care. Thanks to Cik Aqmar and En. Nizam at the front desk for making the stay such a delight. Alhamdulillah.

The food was top class and soooo delicious, and the hotel was extremely clean with all the amenities. It isn't right in the centre, but it's close to the airport and easy to get to Bukit Kayu Hitam. Loved staying here.

I had a lovely stay and enjoyed my time there. The room was nice and the blanket smelled fresh, though the pillowcase had an odor and I found some hair in the bathroom. The hotel seemed clean overall, but I hope they pay a bit more attention to those details.

The lobby had a nice view, welcome drinks and fruit, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was wall-to-wall carpet. Breakfast was okay, with nasi lemak, mee soup, bread, an egg station and drinks. On the second day they served nasi tomato. I think the hotel should make laksa kedah a signature dish, like hotels in Sarawak serve laksa sarawak and mee kolok every day.

The rooms are comfortable, with a lovely view over the paddy fields, and there's a Quran in the drawer. The TV has Astro Sports, including Premier League games. The hotel sits just outside Alor Setar, right by the airport, and has a spacious lobby, but there's no covered parking. The pool is on the ground floor and visible from the guest rooms, so it doesn't feel very private or appealing.
