Country Hotel Bandar Baru Klang

There are plenty of plug points around the room, and enough space for prayer with the qiblat direction clearly marked. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and practical. Parking can be hard to find during office hours when spaces fill quickly, but it's a comfortable and accommodating place to stay.

The cafe was good. The pizza was delicious, and the caramel macchiato was tasty. The vanilla latte was more like hot chocolate, 5/10, and the chicken katsu, or maybe karaage, was too sour, 3/10. The staff were nice, and my wife especially liked the tan-skinned woman who gave us vegetable soup. Thank you. We came for a day staycation with my wife. We had paid online and had a permit, but the hijabi receptionist with thick eyebrows, a chubby build, and fair skin gave us poor service and not even a small smile. I don't know her name. I wondered if it was because we were foreigners using passports. She looked at us as though we weren't married. Did she need to see my wife's three-month baby bump to believe us and treat us nicely? Luckily, the room was great and comfortable, and the bathtub was good. It wasn't very clean, though: there was a cockroach on the sofa and cigarette butts in the bathroom. My wife said it was fine and we could clean it ourselves. It wasn't very quiet, since we could hear footsteps and people talking loudly, but that was still manageable. I'll think twice about coming back because I didn't like the receptionist's treatment.

I needed somewhere to rest while my girl competed at KCCC, and this hotel was conveniently located. There were plenty of restaurants and a bank nearby. Recommended!

Breakfast was included in the price, and the place was quiet. It’s also close to the highway to KL.
