Having a female-only room made things more comfortable for women. The hostel is beside a large mall, handy for picking up necessities or getting dinner, and staff were kind, helpful, and willing to listen to feedback. Getting around is easy too, since Grab rides are very cheap, so I wouldn't worry about the location. I had a pleasant stay.

I planned to stay just one day, but ended up spending my whole time in Kota Kinabalu here. The sisters who own the hostel, Jia and Rachael, made me feel like family and made the stay incredible. It’s right next to a new mall, about three years old, with everything from groceries to mountain gear for climbing Mt. Kinabalu. The beds are comfy, the showers are clean, and the air conditioning is strong. I loved it, 10/10.

What was meant to be a two-day trip became a week because Jia and Rachel made the hostel feel like home. It’s cozy in every way, with comfortable capsule bunks, lockers sized for a bag, a washer and dryer, and welcoming social spaces. You can also get breakfast any time, and there are Sky and BT sports. Best hostel ever, thank you.

Rachel and Jia are lovely and always ready to help, and the hostel is super clean. The area is really good, and you can get a nice breakfast whenever you want. Great value for the money. I definitely recommend it, you won't regret it.
