Tang Dynasty Bay Hotel Sepanggar

The price is fairly low for what you get, and cleanliness was okay. It's outside town, but there are restaurants, cafes, a grocery shop, and parking nearby. There's no breakfast. I got locked in the bathroom because the lock was faulty, and my daughter had to call staff to take it apart. Still, not bad.

The surrounding area is quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, and quite large by KK standards for the price, though it's showing its age. I didn't turn on the TV, so I can't comment on the channels. It was a convenient halfway stop for my training.

The room was spacious, but just about everything else disappointed me. The bed had visible stains, and the hot shower ran slowly. Tea and sugar weren't replenished unless you paid RM0.50 per packet. Toiletries were limited to shampoo, bath gel, and a shower cap. The room phone was disabled, and when I called the number provided repeatedly to ask for the Wi-Fi password, the person eventually hung up on purpose. The receptionist wasn't very helpful or friendly either. Two stars at most, whatever the place may look like.

The room was clean and comfortable, and otherwise things were okay. But I couldn't get the Wi-Fi password, and even the receptionist seemed unsure, so I ended up using my mobile data. The water heater didn't get warm enough. Housekeeping came to tell us to check out before 12, without a smile. We didn't owe you anything, lady! I also saw reception staff playing games on their phones during work. Could you do that somewhere else?
