Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park by IHG

I don't usually leave reviews, but this hotel really impressed me. I've stayed in hundreds, and so far this is the best. The place looks great, and the service and cleanliness are unmatched. Front desk staff were excellent, breakfast was worth every dollar, and the breakfast team was amazing too. Zie at front desk was especially kind, helpful and professional. Security were always respectful and kind. 10/10.

We've returned to this Hotel Indigo a couple of times, and it's become our favorite of the IHG hotels we've tried, wherever we travel. The location is great and the hotel itself is beautiful. Staff have been so kind and hospitable each visit, and made us feel welcome. We were grateful for the room upgrade, which made the stay even better for our family. On our first visit, they also went out of their way to leave something special in the room for my husband's birthday. We'll definitely come back.

The pool and gym area had an amazing view, though there didn't seem to be enough seats. We had to sit on the floor until someone left. I think there were only 12/14 seats for the whole hotel. It would be nice if you could order drinks or food by the pool as well. We had a great time in KL and enjoyed our stay at the Indigo on the Park. It's nicely placed for walking to evening spots like Jalan Alor and Changkat Bukit. Our Corner Tower view room was lovely, but rooms without a specific view may look straight at a concrete building, since the hotel sits between 2 old, somewhat ugly buildings. We were fine in our room, but it's useful to know. Breakfast had lots of good options and special food. The eggs Bennedict were perfect the first day, but on the 3rd day I ordered them again and got a dried poached egg with no sauce on top. Consistency could use some attention. I'd return and request the same room on a higher floor again. Thanks.

We drove from Sungai Long for a one-night getaway, and parking turned out to be our biggest issue. The five-star hotel has no dedicated parking, so my wife had to drive around to find a spot nearby. It was a real inconvenience. If you can, I'd skip the car and use Grab. With that sorted, it's a beautiful and stylish base for exploring KL, but they need to fix the parking situation. The hotel has a characterful, high-end feel, with local art and greenery instead of the usual cookie-cutter luxury look. Rooms were good quality and excellent value. Being next to the Forest Eco Park meant lush, peaceful views, while the main city buzz was still walkable. Breakfast was a huge, high-quality spread, though heavily focused on Asian food. Great for local flavors, but the Western choices may feel limited. The infinity pool on the 25th floor was breathtaking, but there were very few sunbeds. For a hotel that can likely host 200 guests, there should be more places to lie down and relax.
