Petaling Street Hotel Chinatown

The price and central location are the big draws at Petaling Street Hotel, right in the middle of petaling Street, and it works well for an affordable stay. Cleanliness could be better, though. The room had a slight cigarette smell and the towels weren't very clean. My booking showed RM56, but I was charged RM61 plus a RM50 deposit, so bear that in mind. You get what you pay for.

I really liked the spacious standard queen room, especially the rack and table for putting things on. It was clean, though the bed was a little hard and the sheets were thin. The reception staff were kind and considerate, and gave us towels, a blanket, and the key. I was confused at first about finding reception, but you need to take the lift to the 1st floor. I paid a 50rm deposit and got it back at checkout. The room key also turns on the electricity. There was hot water and you could adjust its temperature, but the AC was hard to control. The TV had 9 channels, though only 6 worked. The hotel has a good price and great facilities in good condition. Food, cheap souvenir shops, and convenience stores are all around, and other attractions are nearby. I had a great experience and would stay here again if I visit malaysia.

With Chinatown's food spots and shops right nearby, Petaling Street Hotel KL is handy for exploring the local culture. It's a budget-friendly option, and the simple, clean rooms work well for a short stay.

The room has an old smell, and it's really only suitable for sleeping and resting, not a staycation. The water was hot, though. It's cheap for such a good location, so you get what you pay for. Don't leave a bad review, guys. I had a problem with the AC and asked to change rooms. Even though it was late at night, the receptionist was very kind and tried hard to find me another room with working AC. Great service, thank you~
