YY38 Hotel

Everywhere was filthy, from the sheets and towels to the floors and walls, and there were no basic services. I paid 150$ for just two nights. A series of events forced me to stay, and I wondered how bad it could be. It turned out worse than I could have imagined. Please run. This place isn't worth a penny, and if you choose it, you'll regret it.

The noise was terrible, with no soundproofing at all. We couldn't sleep the whole night because of other rooms and noise from outside. The room at YY38 Hotel was filthy, and the online photos were misleading. The pillowcases and sheets had yellow and grey stains and clearly hadn't been cleaned. There were urine stains along the edges of the toilet seat. The desk was already broken when we arrived, slanted and unstable, so anything placed on it slid off. Yet a sign said not to sit on the table and warned of a RM100 fine if it was broken. It was broken before we even came in. The place was poorly maintained and not worth the money. One of my worst hotel stays, and I was there just last night.

I won’t be staying here again. The location is handy, and the local female receptionist wearing a scarf was friendly and helpful, but the room was very dirty. The bathroom floor grout was packed with dirt, and I had to use the bidet to spray it out. The walls were filthy, and the hanger rack was so dusty I had to clean it before putting anything there. There were foot marks on the towels, pillowcases, and sheets. The curtain looked like it hadn’t been washed in a long time.

I left soon after seeing the room. The whole hallway smelled strongly of chlorine, and it came into the rooms. The beds and linens in the photo give you an idea of how clean the room was. There weren’t any towels, and even if there had been, I wouldn’t have wanted to touch them. Other people in the lobby were complaining when I checked out. I didn’t even bother asking to switch rooms or making a complaint. No price is worth staying here. Please avoid it.
