The staff were friendly, and being on Long Beach was the one real plus. Everything else was a letdown. I booked a lagoon side room, but the view was dried up and nothing like the pictures. The property looked very old and run down, and the food was so poor we went out to eat. For the price, it felt like we’d been cheated. Getting in touch was nearly impossible. They never answered the phone or replied to emails, no matter how many times we tried. This was the worst trip I’ve ever had, and the worst hotel in the neighborhood. I’d strongly advise against staying here, and I won’t be back.

The view was magnificent ❤️❤️, and the buffet was tasty even though there wasn't much to choose from. I came with three kids and stayed for three days. The internet was slow the whole time and there was no TV, so we spent more time playing outside. That made our time together precious 😘. The room felt dated and had no fan, so it got a little hot, but the air conditioning was there. I’d read the reviews before booking and expected things to be much as they described.

The beach and pool were fantastic, and snorkeling from the beach was great. We rented masks and snorkels from the hotel for our whole stay and saw sharks, a turtle, and fish. The food was decent, though not brilliant. Go early if you want the best cuts of meat, since they run out and the food gets cold. The rooms felt worn out. The AC wasn't strong enough, there were ants everywhere, the clean bedding and linens were stained, and the mosquito screens were broken. Dining tables kept having bits of ceiling plaster and food left from previous guests. If you can put up with the mediocre interior and keep your expectations low, you'll love it.

The place itself is beautiful, but it isn't maintained well. Everything was dirty when we arrived, including the breakfast dishes, and the room was full of mosquitoes. The balcony door wouldn't close properly, so insects could get in. There was also an empty artificial lake with stagnant water. The main pool was okay. This is not a four-star hotel.
