Riverside Boutique Guesthouse

We picked this place for the location, and this was my second stay. A few local food spots and cafes are easy to get to, with a 7 eleven just across the road. Our room was clean.

The receptionist and staff were rude and unprofessional. They mocked customers who were simply trying to check in. Management should think about hiring professional staff, because the current team’s behavior was just rude.

We paid around RM370 all-in on Agoda for one night in a Premium Executive Room. There was no breakfast, but plenty of bottled drinking water. The duplex had two floors and one shared toilet, with a semi-transparent door, so it’s not great for sharing with extended family or friends. We had to turn off the lights near the toilet seat area when using it. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out were quick. There’s no dedicated parking, so you use public roadside spaces and, I think, pay the usual parking coupon. We came on the weekend and didn’t need one. I might stay again if I need a large room near the city centre, but outside the city itself.

We spent two nights here. The floor was dusty, the sheets had visible stains and smelled dirty, and there was no hot shower water at night because it runs on solar power.
