Apartments @ Podium Kuching

Guests at my Airbnb have registered their cars with the security team and management and paid RM10 per car, but they still have to pay Sarawak Pay parking fees to leave. The gate keeps asking for another RM1 per hour and won't open otherwise. It feels like double charging and wastes everyone's time. It's embarrassing for hosts and frustrating for guests. The parking at Podium Apartment is a mess. Security and management seem disorganized, and different people give different explanations. Guests can even get stuck at the exit because the system says the parking is unpaid. If registered plates aren't working properly, management should switch to parking access cards for entry and exit. The current setup makes the apartment management look very unprofessional.

I went for a swim and regret it. Looking through my goggles, I could see lots of brown particles at the bottom of the pool. I'll leave you to guess what they were. I won't swim there again. I hope management takes the cleaning seriously. This could be a health hazard and might make someone really sick.

It's easy to get around inside, and everything is within walking distance. The multiple fans running all the time also mean it doesn't get hot. The apartments are well connected to The Podium Street Mall, with lots of F&B places and restaurants operating there.
