It's above a pub, so it might work for a quick business trip. Still, warning, don't book here unless it's probably the last room you can find in Kuching. Thanks to the staff for being upfront beforehand that their rooms are bad. I appreciate the honesty.
I booked through Agoda, but when I arrived the owner said they'd left all the booking websites and couldn't give me a room. Then I was told I'd have to pay a higher price to get one. Don't book through those sites.
The air conditioner had no remote for temperature control, and the hot shower wasn't working.
It's a good place to stay, but I hope Hilltop management takes action about the room.
The room at Hilltop gives you good service for one of the cheapest prices.
