Imperial Suite Kuching

We spent a week here while my dad had an operation at KPJ. The bed was super comfortable, and the rooms were spacious, really large, with all the amenities we needed. The service was friendly, and breakfast was good, even if the menu wasn't big. There's a gym open 6-21 with a good selection of items. Loved our stay.

I stay at Imperial hotel whenever I visit Kuching, and consider myself a regular. It's a peaceful place, with safe parking bays for hotel guests. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Having a shopping mall right beside the hotel is a plus too, especially for shopping at the supermarket. Highly recommended for people travelling to Kuching.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is okay, but housekeeping starts quite late. This isn't a great choice for business travellers: the wifi is unsecured and keeps dropping, especially on VPN. I had to use my phone as a hotspot about half the time to stay connected. It's quite far from downtown. There's a mall close to the hotel, but nothing else around here worth visiting.

The buffet is so good, with lots of variety. Come in the first week or last week of the month for buffet dinner, and book online through their application to get a better price. Seriously, the food is delicious. I came here for the food and was surprised by how good it was. I've also stayed in a room here before, and the bed was really comfortable. The toilet was a little uncomfortable for me because they still use a bidet. I'm not comfortable washing with their bidet, and prefer actual water from a hose. Nothing else to comment on, everything here is so PERFECT! Love it!
