The location is very handy, right in Kuching city centre on Padungan Road. A 7-Eleven is across the street, restaurants are all around, and the Kuching Waterfront is about a 20-minute walk away. There's no lift, and my queen room was on the second floor, so keep that in mind with heavy bags or mobility concerns. Parking is public nearby, with no private parking. The staff were welcoming and friendly at both check-in and check-out. The bathroom was generally clean, but the sliding door didn't work properly. There were cups in the room, though they could have been cleaned better. The TV and air-conditioning both worked well. For the price, it seems reasonable and suits travelers looking for a budget stay in a central spot.

The room at Kapit Hotel was on the small side, but clean and comfortable, with good air-conditioning and strong water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient when I checked in. It's within walking distance of Kuching's old town, food places, and shopping areas. The price was reasonable for the value, and I'd stay here again. A good option for budget travelers.

The staff were friendly and always smiled at us, and I hope Kapit can improve. This is an honest account of what we experienced. Thanks for the stay, and I wish the hotel luck. The location is strategic, near the waterfront, but the room was very dirty. We saw small cockroaches and worried one might crawl into our ear while we slept. The bathroom smelled, and its door kept sliding back when we tried to close it. WiFi wouldn't reach our room, so I had to connect the TV to my phone's hotspot to watch YouTube. The pillow was yellow when I opened the pillow mattress, so I think it needs replacing. There were mineral water and glasses in the room, but no towels. We asked at the counter and were told the towels weren't dry.

The bed was really comfortable, and the location is nice. The toilet was a bit smelly and not very clean, and there's no soundproofing. No toothbrush either. There's no lift, so plan what you bring.
