I used to really like staying at LIVING HOUSE. The quiet atmosphere and the small number of people made it comfortable for me, even though it’s a budget hotel. I stayed nearby often and extended my stay several times, both every week and every month. I no longer feel comfortable or safe spending the night there. On Sunday (17.August.2025), three days ago, a man staying there knocked on my room door. When my friend and I asked the RECEPTION about it, they seemed to know what had happened and answered confidently. Then today, when I checked out at 12.00 noon, two men seemed as if they wanted to do something bad to me. One wore a black hoodie. The other wore a black hat and was a little short and chubby. I hope the STAFF and OWNER of LIVING HOUSE will take action regarding the guest. THANK YOU.

The owner was especially kind. When I checked in, he gave me a big bag of bananas, and when the Wi-Fi wouldn’t reach my room, 203, he brought up an extender to fix it. The staff are super friendly, and they let me check in more than 2 hours early. They’re open 24 hours too. It’s an old hotel, but it has what you need, including AC and hot water. The lobby has hot or warm water, but no cold water. You can buy a cold 1.5L bottle at the front counter for 2 rm. The AC and fan were really good, and the power stays on when you leave the room, unlike at some other hotels. There’s plenty of tasty, cheap food on the bottom floor. The free electric 103 bus has two stops about 8 min walk away, and we took it from the airport. It’s ideal for a budget traveler, though I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re very picky about appearances.

The owner was friendly and generous. For 6 people, one night cost only rm80, so it was good value. The room had a refrigerator, water heater, air conditioning, and a balcony for drying clothes. Cleanliness could be better, and some of the facilities are old.

The air-conditioned room worked well, and the bedsheet looked a little dirty, though I still found the room okay to stay in. The water pressure was low.

The owner was considerate and really kind, welcoming us with free snacks and drinks. Finding halal food nearby was the difficult part.
