The room barely had space to move, let alone pray comfortably. I used the narrow gap, just over two feet, between the bed and TV wall, facing the bathroom entrance. There were ants in both the bedroom and bathroom, black mould around the sink, and the bidet had been left on the toilet tank instead of fitted onto its holder. The room also smelled musty when it rained, with water dripping onto the outdoor air-conditioning unit because there was no awning. The air-conditioning hardly cooled the room during the day, even set to 16°C, then switched itself off the next morning despite the timer being off. Maybe a “hantu” turned it off, I don't know. The staff were unfriendly and seemed “lazy,” with poor phone manners and communication. Getting a smile was hard. Receptionists should show basic hospitality and get customer service training, especially the male staff. The female staff were a little better, though. I also couldn't tell if Netflix was officially included. An account was already logged in when I arrived, but it logged out halfway through watching, so I don't know whether it belonged to the hotel or a previous guest. I was rushing and needed rest, so I didn't take photos, but the stay was far from comfortable. It's only suitable for a quick night's sleep. Would I come back for a three-digit price? No thanks.

There are far too many rules here. You can't bring food or drinks, and visitors aren't allowed after 9:30 pm. What if friends are only free after 10? People come to Kuching to see friends too, not just for work. The receptionists often have a permanently sour look, barely smile, and keep looking at their phones. The room had spider webs and cockroaches. This place has stricter rules than a five-star hotel, lol.

Good location, a nice hotel, and the price was good too. I've had the chance to stay here.

The corridor carpet helps muffle the sound of rolling luggage, and the lift needs a hotel card, which made me feel secure staying alone overnight. Check-in was quick, though you should come prepared with the RM50 cash deposit. The room was clean and new, the area was quiet, and the hot shower worked well. I was happy with what I paid. Keep up the good work.

The lobby looks impressive, but the smell gets bad as soon as you reach the room floor. It's musty in the room too. The room needs freshening up, really the whole hotel does. The smell is horrible.
