The view across the countryside was breathtaking, and even though the place sits quietly in the hills, its central location meant we could reach anywhere on the island with a short scooter ride. It’s a peaceful stay with some local charm, highly recommended for Langkawi. Our host Saidi made things especially easy, from the warm welcome to the great service throughout. We’d planned two nights but were so impressed that we extended the stay, and Saidi handled the change with a smile. As a fun extra, there was even a friendly house tiger guarding the grounds!

The setting is gorgeous and full of nature, and Ismail was a great host. It is remote, though the team sorted us out with scooters, which were awesome, and a Grab can get you there in about five minutes. The buildings aren’t airtight. If you want the White Lotus experience, keep looking. And if you have mobility issues, don’t book one of the places high on the hill. The view is great, though.

The villas have beautiful views, easily the best on Langkawi, and the large pool is a real highlight. It’s an isolated stay surrounded by nature, where you might even spot leaf monkeys. The whole property is stunning. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending things to do and even helping us rent motorbikes. Renting one directly through the hotel is a great idea and the perfect way to explore the island. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Hilltop villa was our favorite place to stay, especially for the lovely view and all the privacy. We spent two nights at Alamanda villas during a month of travel, and they were the best part. It was so quiet, surrounded by nature, and the staff were cheerful and helpful.

Eddy really made our stay at Alamanda Villa special. He was incredibly welcoming, happy to help with anything, and shared great ideas for things to do around the island. The house itself was beautiful and had an amazing view. Thanks for making it feel like a five-star stay!
