The good points were the views, a usually quiet area and a walkable location. But the bathrooms have glass louvers open to the outside that can’t be closed, and neither they nor the kitchen area are air-conditioned. The pool gets practically no sun through the day, so it’s not a place to come if you want sunshine by the pool. The parking lot has long-abandoned vehicles that are unsettling and disgusting. The main elevator has a window, but all you can really see is the huge amount of dust and debris from poor cleaning and maintenance.

The sea is a little way off, but the view is beautiful. The owner was really friendly, and the place had almost everything ready, so we only needed our clothes and personal things. Of all the places I stayed in Malaysia on this trip, this was the best. Checkout is until 12, with an extra charge if you stay later. Highly recommend.

There are Chinese, Malay, and Thai restaurants around the place, plus a supermarket about 300 m away, so it’s easy to find what you need. It’s a calm spot for a relaxed trip, and the owner is friendly. The sea view is lovely, though a little distant. The place has nearly everything within 200 m, and checkout is at 12, with an extra charge after that. Chenang Beach is quite far, around a 30-minute drive.

Nice views of Dayang hills and the sea, and the stay itself was fuss free. It’s a medium-sized apartment for a short visit, with Thai and Chinese food nearby. Light sleepers should know karaoke may go on until midnight or 1am, and stray dogs barked around 3am.

We liked the apartment we stayed in through Airbnb, and the views were good. It’s a decent place, though a bit far from Cenang beach. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked well maintained.
