Grand Village Inn

I was there for three nights over Ironman weekend. The room was spacious and very clean for the price, and the staff answered all my questions with a smile. It’s close to pelangi beach and only minutes from cenang street. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The staff were really polite, and the swimming pool was quite large and nice. Our clean, spacious room had a fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle, plus bottled water, tea, and instant coffee. It was a comfortable and satisfying stay. If I visit Langkawi again, I’d choose the same hotel.

We only meant to stay for two days but wound up here for around 3-4. The front desk was sweet, and the rooms were clean. Nothing fancy, but it was a good experience overall.

It’s neat, new, and super clean, with a peaceful feel when you arrive. The staff are very friendly, responsive, and available 24/7. Rooms have air conditioning, a kettle, hot water, soap, and shampoo, plus tea, instant coffee, sugar, and bottled water. There’s a kitchen on the rooftop, but check first whether it’s ready to use. You can’t see the beach from here, but it’s a 10-minute walk to the beach and Main Street, where there are lots of restaurants, shops, and malls. Getting there with toddlers or small kids in a stroller could be difficult in the heat: the entrance isn’t paved, there’s no shade, and the main road isn’t properly equipped for strollers or wheelchairs. If you can walk and want somewhere clean and quiet, it’s a great fit.
