The Sassy House

For the price, it’s hard to go wrong. The rooms are large and basic but clean, with a good hot shower, AC and a fan. There’s free water, and the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. Restaurants and bars are a 3 minute walk away, and the beach is 10 minutes away. The area has lots of resorts and is amazing, much better than further north. I think the ground floor is dorms for workers, but everyone was kind and friendly. They’ll clean the rooms whenever you request it. There’s a gym, though it’s just one set of dumbbells and some older equipment: a cross trainer, treadmill and bike. It’s a good spot for pilates or something, but very hot. Laundry and a communal kitchen are available, though we didn’t use them since I think they’re more for permanent residents. I’d thoroughly recommend the place.

A really quiet place to stay, with nice large rooms and all the facilities, plus full use of the kitchen. Quite a few rooms are rented long term. The management are very friendly, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I’m just a traveler, not a tour guide. Highly recommended 🤩

We liked the island and our room so much that we extended our stay at the Sassy House. The room is simple but has everything you need, and it’s quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Excellent value for money, and the staff were very helpful. Thank you so much! ❤️

We planned to stay one night and ended up extending for almost 3 weeks 😅 The rooms are great, with excellent water pressure and always hot water. There’s also a water dispenser, washing machine, kitchen and mini “gym”. Fieza and the staff are lovely. We’d definitely stay again.
