I just arrived today, and check-in was very pleasant. The staff were really nice, polite, helpful, and always smiling. The room is very small, but that’s fine for me since I’ll only be there to sleep. It’s clean, and the location is great. The beach is clean and crowded. The market, food, shops, and underwater world Langkawi are right beside us. I’m really glad I chose this hotel.

I booked this place to sleep during a diving trip and stayed only one night before moving on the next day. The stairs were so narrow that carrying my diving gear was difficult. There wasn’t a fridge in the room, just one shared fridge in the lobby, and I had to use Halal, so in Langkawi I couldn’t even put beer in it. The toilet needs to be stepped up, and the door wouldn’t close properly.

This is a small family-run inn, with rooms on the second floor and stair access only. The rooms are small but neat and clean. Housekeeping came daily, and the air conditioning was OK. The reception lady was gentle and friendly. We stayed 3 nights, and the location was ideal for getting around Langkawi, close to the main beach at Pantai Cenang.

I spent 2 nights at Sunset Villa Inn and have no regrets. The receptionists were very friendly, and eateries were close by, with almost everything easy to reach. I’d be happy to stay here again. Yes, the place is small, but that’s clear in the photos. Guests should look at them before complaining.

For the price, it’s decent, and the staff are really kind and friendly. The beach is very close, and the location at the south end of Cenang is OK. Just note that Google Maps is off: the actual place is on the 3rd floor above a spa, right beside Underwater World. The triple room felt too small to move around in, and the air conditioning wasn’t very good. The shower was fine, but the bathroom was tiny and a bit outdated.
