Courtyard by Marriott Melaka

The location made it easy to explore Melaka with the family, with Jonker Street Night Market and plenty of good places to eat nearby. We had a smooth and enjoyable three-day, two-night stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka. Mr Roger Gabriel and his team made us feel comfortable throughout with warm, attentive service. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and breakfast was satisfying and well managed. Our main concern was the room assignment. We booked well in advance expecting sea-view rooms, but on arrival were told our rooms had been reassigned for a large tour group. I understand operational needs, but I’d hoped an early booking could be honoured. The replacement rooms faced a neighboring building and offered little privacy, which was a real compromise. Still, Shuhada’s thoughtful parting gift and the staff’s professionalism made a difference. She helped us with the reservation as Assistant Event Manager, and the welcome on arrival was warm. Sin Jung at concierge, Syana and Khairul at the front desk, Muhammad, Sabri the bellman, and Balqis at the coffeehouse were all gracious and attentive. We chose the property on a family member’s recommendation for our leisure trip. It was a strong stay, carried by the people. More consistent room assignments would make the experience even better.

Ms. Michelle at the Front Desk made check-in smooth and welcoming. She was warm, professional, and attentive, and her service really stood out. Courtyard by Marriott Melaka is our first choice whenever we visit Melaka. It’s modern, clean, and well maintained, with comfortable, spacious rooms and a relaxing feel. We’ll keep choosing it and would recommend it.

The rooms have lovely interiors and a cozy, luxurious feel, and the beds are made in Heaven. We booked two rooms each time, so we got to try both the king and double beds. Both were spacious and comfortable. The facilities and amenities are excellent, and the location puts you near the best tourist spots and almost everywhere else in Melaka. What stands out most for us is the atmosphere, calm, polished, and inviting, like home. Since our first stay, my family and I have fallen in love with this place and have kept returning since November 2024. We’re already looking forward to the next stay. Marriott Bonvoy has always been our family’s top hotel choice, and when Courtyard by Marriott Melaka opened a few years ago, we were excited to make it our first choice in Melaka too. As someone who travels widely for business and leisure, I haven’t found another place like this gem. I’ve also been involved in awarding hotel star ratings in Malaysia, and this hotel ticks every box. The luxury experience was what first drew us in, and the team welcomed us warmly at the entrance, making a lasting impression. They knew the experiences well and guided us to our rooms. Service has stayed top-notch, warm and professional every time. We want to congratulate Mr. GM, Mr Khairul from F & B, and the whole team for positioning the brand so well. After years in hospitality and tourism, we pay close attention to service and brand marketing. Every team member has made us feel special, with consistently impeccable service and proactive care. Mr. Khairul and the team made the experience magical, and Mr. GM and Mr Khairul deserve recognition, a bonus, or promotion for their excellent leadership and for keeping everything in order. They’ve done an excellent job managing what we consider the best hotel in the world. We’re proud of it and will keep telling family and friends how much we love it. We’ll be back soon. Happy 2026!
