LKS Hotel

There was a really strong smell in the room, and the curtains were very dirty. The whole hotel smelled so bad I could barely breathe. When I stepped into the elevator, I almost fainted, bro, it stank that much. I don't understand how this place gets five stars. It's the worst hotel in Melaka I've ever stayed in, sorry, I'm just being honest. There's a haunted hotel in front, and a Japanese graveyard beside it too. That's my review, bye. #jujurdanamanah

The shower barely had any water pressure, and the short curtains didn't block out the light. The room smelled strongly of feces. There was hair on the pillows and yellow staining on the blanket. It's a bit far from Jonker Street, so you'd need to drive there. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

There's a large food court right next to the hotel, which is handy since breakfast isn't provided. You can walk to the historical sites downtown and Jonker Street. It's an unpretentious budget hotel, with basic, dated rooms. There's a TV, but no toiletries, though a soap dispenser is provided. The hot shower works. Parking is roadside and managed by the city council, so coupons are needed during daytime hours.

A nice, comfortable stay at a reasonable price, with easy parking. There's a kitchen and dining area beside the lobby if you'd like to cook. For Muslims, I'd suggest bringing your own utensils as an extra precaution. It's a short distance from the epicenter, which is good if you prefer somewhere less crowded.
