Mercury Boutique Hotel

I spent seven nights at Mercury Boutique Hotel and found it comfortable, with friendly staff who sorted out the minor issues I raised quickly. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh linen. I also appreciated the safe, tea and coffee amenities, and electric kettle. The hotel has a modern design and tasteful decor that feels welcoming. It's a short walk to Jonker Street, malls, and plenty of restaurants, so exploring Melaka on foot was easy. Despite the central location, the double-glazed window kept out nearly all street noise, and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. The shower had strong pressure and steady hot water, a nice bonus for a budget-friendly hotel. The Wi-Fi wasn't secure, which concerned me when I needed to work or access sensitive information online, and the hallways could be noisy. Still, the good points outweighed the downsides, and I'd happily stay again. Great value for the price if you want comfort, convenient access, and friendly service in the heart of Melaka. I stayed here last week. Renovation work was really disturbing, and at night the motorcycle noise was too much, especially on weekends.

For a two-star hotel, the environment was perfect for me. Everything was clean and neat, and the counter staff was polite and nice. Her smile made my day. I liked it a lot, felt it was worth it, and I'm sure I'll choose this hotel again.

A nice, budget-friendly place with a comfy, clean room and usable facilities. There were two things that scared my friend and me, though. We were taking the lift down to the ground floor when it suddenly went completely dark and stopped for a few seconds. Then, around midnight, someone pushed our door really hard and seemed to be trying to get in. Hopefully the hotel maintains the lift and improves safety so this doesn't happen again.
