Sleep Here Hostel

Alan was cheerful, polite, and easy to understand. I walked in without a reservation and had a great, relaxed stay. The bathrooms were spotless too, and I'd definitely come back. One funny thing, the shoe rack outside had a seriously strong smell from other guests' shoes. It hit me right in the face, haha. No blame on the hostel, just sharing a story about fellow guests.

I booked a bed in the two-person dorm and found it really comfortable. I could work in the common area without any trouble. The mall, 711, food, and laundry are all within walking distance.

I've stayed in hostels for three years, and this is the best one I've found. The bed was comfortable, I felt safe, and the owner made me feel so welcome. I was unsure how to organize the rest of my trip, so he suggested places, called bike rental shops to check whether I could rent one, and helped me choose my next hostel by looking through the reviews with me. That meant a lot. There’s a little free breakfast with toast, butter, peanut butter, coffee, and tea, plus free water refills. The restaurant next door was amazing, I loved the food. The hostel was very clean, about 800m from the city centre and close to Little India, with no traffic noise. My roommates were lovely and we all became friends. Bike and bicycle rental are available too.

The bedroom was quite spacious and the hostel was clean. Definitely booking here again if I come back to Malacca.
