D Wangi Homestay Pasir Gudang at Ecotropic

At RM500, I expected all 11 of us to be comfortable, but the rooms without air conditioning were so hot that everyone ended up sleeping outside. It was still hot in the daytime too. Only two rooms had air conditioners, and if I'd known that upfront, I wouldn't have confirmed the booking. The living room unit ran for about five minutes, then needed restarting and stopped again. The kitchen roof leaked, and most of the furniture couldn't be used. It was okay enough to sleep for two nights, but I won't rent this place again.

The homestay is spacious and suits a big family, with complete facilities, and I appreciated the two-night stay. A few things need attention, though. The second room's bed was very noisy at night, and the wall beside the master bathroom was dirty. The ironing setup was also a problem: the board had an old, dirty batik cloth on it that marked my clothes, and the iron's dirty sole did the same. Two of my headscarves were ruined by it. A new iron and board would help. I hope these things can be improved and the place continues to do well.
