OYO 432 My 7days Inn

The staff helped recommend Chinese food in Kota Masai, and free parking was available. The location was decent, with Econ save nearby. My room was clean and had a kettle, but the water pressure was low and the soundproofing was thin. There’s no lift and no dental kit. For a room with 2 single beds, there were 2 towels and 4 pillows. For the price, I can’t complain. The main things for me are clean beds, no bed bugs, and no cigarette smell.

I booked Super OYO 432 My 7days Inn at No.33, Jalan Rusa 1, Taman Scientex, Pasir Gudang. When we arrived, the receptionist said the booking had been cancelled and my card wouldn’t be charged, so we left. Two days later Oyo charged my debit card anyway, even though I hadn’t stayed there. The hotel said the reservation was cancelled, but Oyo called it a no-show and said it was the hotel’s fault. I tried calling Oyo phone CS, but they wouldn’t handle it and kept saying it was the wrong department. They told me to call back in 30 minutes. I called repeatedly and kept reaching the same person, who just repeated that instruction and wouldn’t look into the problem. I’m stuck and feel helpless. Oyo is an Indian company with bad customer service. They close Oyo CS at 7 pm and just run customers around. It makes no sense, and I can never get through to speak with them about the debit card deduction. I’m really disappointed and won’t stay at an Oyo hotel again.

The room was comfortable, and the bed was decent for a cheap one-night stay. The staff were friendly and patient when agoda messed up my booking. They waited while I made another booking, and luckily the room was still available. It’s convenient, with an econsave market nearby and a maybank ATM inside. The toilet was in good condition, though it could be improved. Water pressure was very good, the heater worked, and body wash was provided. The other appliances were in good shape too, including a fridge, TV, cups, and water heater. A few details: I booked a deluxe double room, and Muslim travelers will find kiblat guidance in the room. There’s a RM50 cash deposit due at check-in.

I stayed for two nights and most things were good. The staff were quite friendly, but the WiFi wasn’t working during my stay, and my own mobile data had a very weak signal too. It could suit a budget stay if you have your own transport. Econsave supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and there’s a restaurant next door. Getting public transport is quite hard, though.
