Blue Lagoon Hotel @ Bandar Sunway

We were able to walk to everything, with Sunway Lagoon right by the entrance and Sunway Pyramid just across the way for food, shopping, and entertainment. We never needed a taxi. The indoor TV rest area was a nice place to chat and watch Netflix, and the lounge and free WiFi made it easy to relax. For the price, it felt like strong value compared with nearby options. Parking takes some figuring out since it is first come, first served. The front desk showed us how to park opposite at pyramid hotel for about RM13 for 10 hours, then move to street parking after 10pm when the busy crowd was leaving. Our family room was spacious, clean, and suited us well. The memory foam beds were very comfortable, the shower had strong hot water, and the smart controls for lights and AC were a nice modern touch. We also appreciated the water dispenser and vending machine. Daikin air conditioning kept the room cool. Self check-in was quick and straightforward. When we had a small question, the front desk assistant was warm and helpful. Blue Lagoon Hotel @ Bandar Sunway gave us a great stay, and we're already thinking about coming back.

I asked to book a few rooms for 4-5 hours and was ready to pay the full rate. I only needed to check in two hours early. The staff member could simply have said no, but instead told me to book the rooms for two days to use them for five hours. That seemed ridiculous.

The rooms were bright and clean, and the staff were courteous and friendly. There's also a pleasant shared living space where you can relax, read, or have a light meal.

I booked a windowless room with a queen bed and a single bed, and it was clean. Joining the hotel's free membership through its website can get you a lower price, plus 2pm check-in and checkout. The receptionist was very friendly. The location is handy, right across the street from Sunway Pyramid Hotel and the mall. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and a 99 speedmart is beside the hotel.
