Getting a taxi in rush hour was the main hassle. It should usually cost around RM27 to KL city centre, but rooms can also be hard to book at short notice, so reserve early. The hotel itself is a good budget option: basic, clean, quiet, and functional. The staff were helpful, and the room had what I needed as a solo guest. For the price, I found it a real bargain.
I couldn't stand it and left after 3 hours. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed after the previous guest, with dried stains on the bedding and black marks on the blankets and sheets. The toilet was filthy, the walls looked mouldy, and there were spider webs on the ceiling. The building looks old, which I could have accepted, but the cleanliness was awful. For RM100 a room, stay away. This place should be shut down.
For just one night, it was fine for resting. The room was a little small for two, and had no window, though that didn't bother us. The heater worked and the air conditioning was okay. Wi-Fi is available, but you have to ask reception for the password.
Rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi was reasonable. It's a very basic budget hotel and doesn't serve food, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance for different tastes and budgets. Banks, laundromats, and other conveniences are easy to reach too.
Parking isn't really free if you're driving. It's free from 6pm to 8am, but between 8am and 6pm you'll need to buy a ticket at the nearby 7 eleven. Petaling Jaya charges by the hour, though it isn't expensive. The stay itself was comfortable.
