We booked two nights through GL Staycation, but this was the worst stay of my 40 years. As soon as we checked in, I found serious hygiene and maintenance problems, especially in the bathroom. The ceiling and wall had water damage, mold, and stains. Water was leaking from a hole and left marks on the floor. I asked to change rooms, but they refused, saying it wasn't a functional issue, and said there could be no refund. The condition was unacceptable for accommodation and raised serious cleanliness and health concerns. It didn't feel suitable to occupy, so we had no choice but to check out immediately.

Finding the entrance took me a while because I couldn't get my GPS to locate it for Grab. You can enter through Sunway Pyramid HOTEL, though, and the security staff and front counter were very helpful. The location is fantastic, connected to Sunway Pyramid mall, and housekeeping and cleanliness were top notch. The room was generously sized, with a dining table and a mini kitchen containing a fridge, kettle, and microwave. Some lamps weren't working. There was no breakfast, but plenty of restaurants nearby. A solid choice if you're planning to visit Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Pyramid. Thank you!

The location is good, but the accommodation was so revolting we couldn't make ourselves stay. We booked two rooms at Sunway tower hotel resort suites because we couldn't book at Sunway resort for four adults and one child. One room was for two adults, the other for two adults and a child. The rooms were old and worn out, with mold and mildew on the lampshades. There were no plates or crockery in the kitchenette, the towels were stained and dirty, and black hairs were in the bedding and shower area. It made me doubt whether the room had been cleaned after the previous guests. There was a makeshift bedside table coming apart, with an attempted repair. Cleanliness was questionable and concierge service was nonexistent. What we arrived to was vastly different from the pictures. I would give zero stars for the rooms and service if I could. We found alternative accommodation at the last minute and will seek a refund later.

The washing machine worked well, and the price was affordable. I stayed on Level 19 at Resort Suites from 14-Jun to 17-Jun after renting through AirBNB from Ai Lee. I had a great stay and would definitely come back. The one snag was the vending machine: after I paid, my chips got stuck and wouldn’t dispense. A staff member helped get them out.

We stayed six nights as a family of four and found it comfortable. The view of Sunway Lagoon was great, and the connection to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall was handy. We loved our stay, though it may not suit fussy travellers.
