I stayed on a Monday, when there was a pasar malam right in front. Speedmart, Mr DIY and a mamak are nearby too, so the location is really handy for getting what you need. I paid about RM71 a night through Agoda, which felt like a steal. The bed was comfortable and there were basic things like coffee and soap. The room was a little cramped with two single beds, but at that price it was a bargain. The receptionist, an Indian girl, was kind and polite and explained everything clearly. Not bad at all.

We came to Rawang for a business trip and to visit someone nearby. I booked in person, and the staff gave us a really good room. It was clean, the facilities were great, and the service made us very happy. The hotel is right in the middle of Rawang town, too. I’d recommend staying here to friends and family. 😊

Room 204 had a terrible smell, and the water dispenser on our floor wasn’t working, so we had to go downstairs whenever we needed water. That was especially inconvenient with a baby. We’d booked a Family Room, but when we arrived, we were told its air-conditioning was being repaired and were offered a room with two queen beds instead. With all these issues, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families with young children.

The main thing I was uneasy about was the street parking. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay for the Rawang Half Marathon. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and worth what I paid. There’s a 99 Speedmart and a few restaurants nearby, and Aeon Rawang, where the run started and finished, was a 10 minute drive away.

After a long day, I found the clean, comfortable room a relaxing place to come back to. The service was attentive, and the property had good facilities. I had an excellent stay at Swing and Pillows, and would highly recommend it for a short visit or a longer one.
