Anggun Lodge Private Room with Sharing Bathroom

The lodge is conveniently close to the dive shop, and after they drop you back there, it’s easy to get to your accommodation. There’s a laundry shop nearby too. The owner and staff were very friendly and ready to help, and both the room and bathroom were clean and well kept. Prices are affordable, so it’s good value. I’d recommend it!

The mattress was very comfortable, and the inside rooms were quiet on a peaceful street. Food options and a laundry shop are nearby, and the bathrooms look well finished. But getting to the ground floor toilets means crossing the lobby in front of big glass windows, a long walk when you’re dressed for bed and wishing you’d put your bra back on. The building is two storeys split into three, with very low doorways and stairs barely taller than my 160 cm. The aircon sits in the corridor, which is freezing, while tiny fans bring air into stuffy rooms. The USB fans weren’t enough and had loose connections. There’s only one plug over the bed, so charging things takes up bed space. There isn’t enough floor room for a full-sized suitcase, no bin in the room, and the place needed vacuuming to pick up all the hair.

The clean bedding, towels, and bathroom were the one thing I liked. Rooms are tiny, just enough for a queen or single mattress, and there’s nothing else except a mini USB fan. Toilets and bathroom are downstairs, through reception. My fan didn’t work, but after I complained they moved me to a ground floor room beside the bathroom with a regular stand fan. Every room should have a proper full-size fan. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel.

The room was small and not very clean, though the worker was helpful. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the main seafood restaurant, with KFC around 8 minutes away and McDonald’s about 6 minutes away.
