Small, but comfortable. Nice and clean, too.

By checkout there still wasn’t any acknowledgement, and throughout the stay I felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. I really wouldn’t recommend this place. The check-in was poor from the start. The person barely spoke or smiled, and seemed annoyed that we’d interrupted a show on their phone. They shoved the key and TV remote onto the desk without telling us which room we had or whether it was on the ground or first floor. Our room had cockroaches in both the bathroom and bedroom area, plus stains on the wall. At 9:45 the next morning, someone knocked and rudely demanded we move to “a room the same” because ours was already booked. She didn’t listen when I asked why the other guests couldn’t have that room instead. I was still in my pajamas after a long travel day, so it was embarrassing to walk across the hall to another room that was just as poor. The bathroom switch there was broken, leaving only one temperature setting.

A nice inn if you want to stay in town, and it’s easy to find food nearby. The one inconvenience is that there’s no lift.

Clean, tidy room and polite staff. Good service, and the best place to stay.
