There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a convenience shop downstairs, but parking is limited. The hotel has only two parking spaces, and on weekdays you have to pay if you can’t get one of them. I stayed in a family room with a king bed and a single bed. It was clean, though very basic, with only a few TV channels and weak, unstable Wi-Fi. Extra pillows cost RM10 each. You only get one access card per room, which may be inconvenient when traveling with colleagues.

They managed to accommodate our last-minute room requests. I was surprised to find bathroom amenities in a small-town hotel, and there’s a 7-11 right downstairs. The room floor could have been cleaned better.

The room cost me RM130, and reception kindly let me extend my stay until 4pm for RM10 an hour. I liked the simple decor and spacious room, and I’d definitely come back to this underrated hotel in Simpang Renggam. Just be aware that stairs are the only option, so it’s not great if you have large, heavy suitcases. There’s also a 7e downstairs.

A 7-11 right below the hotel is handy. This was my first stay here, and it was pleasant. I had a clean, comfortable twin room that worked well for a short visit, with the basic amenities you’d expect from a two-star hotel. One of the better places to stay in Simpang Renggam.
