Green Peace Sungai Lembing

Fine for a night, but you can hear a lot through the walls. The water provided tasted like coffee, and every container seemed to have the same taste. Bikers may commonly stay here and sometimes arrive around 1 to 4 in the morning. If you're not asleep before they get in, it can be very distracting.

We slept well on the clean, comfortable bed, including a good afternoon nap. For a budget stay, the price was reasonable and we found it comfortable overall. The workers were friendly and helpful. They walked us through booking Sungai Lembing Waterfall and helped with other requests, so everything went smoothly. The room had a ceiling fan and air conditioner. Towels were supplied, along with paper towels, shampoo, and body wash. The bathroom was clean and had what we needed, but felt claustrophobic. There weren't many raised surfaces for our things, just a small bedside stand, so our luggage had to stay on the floor. Green Peace is in Sungai Lembing town and has private parking. I found a spot during my stay, though there are far fewer bays than rooms, so it may not be enough for everyone in peak season.

I booked through Agoda, where it said there was one room left. When I checked in around midnight, there didn't seem to be anyone else there, just me. I only needed one room, and it was a good place to sleep.

This is a lovely spot for walking and enjoying nature, breathing fresh air, and trying the local food and fruit. You can also join the popular hikes organized by the village. It's a delightful village among greenery, plants, and fruit trees, with the constant sound of a nearby stream. It's quite a distance from the main highway. The owner and team were kind, generous, and very approachable. They went out of their way to look after guests. The rooms are a decent size, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Body wash and shampoo were good quality. The pillows were much too flat and soft, so we had to improvise to make them fuller. The biggest issue was noise in rooms 15 through 18, which are below a shared hangout area with heavy tables and chairs. Campers use it to prepare meals, and they dragged furniture around for hours, sometimes until midnight. It was so loud that we couldn't relax or sleep. I'd suggest putting artificial grass on the shared area's floor to fit the theme, and replacing the heavy furniture with lighter pieces. That could address the noise. As things are now, I don't think people will want those rooms. Even with that problem, I still think it's a lovely place to visit.
