TnT Novelty House

The host was super friendly and helpful, and the location is close to attractions in Teluk Intan. Little Woody Cottage felt cozy and peaceful, with greenery all around that made it feel homely. The rooms were clean, neat, and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay, and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway or a family trip.

The bathroom floor was very slippery. The owner had a really bad attitude toward customers and argued that Agoda had lowered her room price, then wanted me to pay extra. The issue wasn’t fully settled until midnight.

We never got a refund, and in the end we just wanted to go home instead of staying. Agoda said the owner had to approve the refund, but also told us she had refused. Agoda kept saying the owner had welcomed us to stay, though that wasn’t what we wanted after everything that happened. The whole problem started when I came to check in and Ms. Tan told me to call Agoda. She claimed Agoda had scammed her by selling rooms below the price she offered, and insisted we get Agoda to change the price. Agoda explained that the owner sets the prices on its platform. While dealing with her, she was angry and wouldn’t acknowledge the issue. She accused the customer of being arrogant, then turned it around and said the customer was the one who got angry. At one point she covered her ears while I was speaking, as if refusing to listen. At first she said, “If you don’t want this room, it’s fine. I can sell it to someone else at a higher price.” But when we asked to cancel, she got upset. She even told the customer to “get out of here, this is my place” and shooed us away. We still don’t know what story she twisted and told Agoda. Such a hypocrite. Bad service, the worst homestay ever. People were only checking in because of Hari Raya, and we ended up dealing with an owner with such an unpleasant attitude. Being scolded completely ruined our mood. Would you still want to stay?

The lady owner was really rude to me and ordered my family members around, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. I believe good service can make or break a business, and this fell short. I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. Very, very, very bad service.
