At campsite 2 I had a comfortable stay, with a flat grassy tent spot and a great bathroom and kitchen area. They light the donkey each morning and evening for hot water, such a treat. I especially loved walking to the rhinos with Reno. He knows so much about the trees, animals, and rhinos, and his passion for nature made the walk delightful and inspiring. The guards who protect the rhinos around the clock in shifts deserve real credit. They’re lovely, knowledgeable guys doing incredible work. All the staff were friendly and lovely too. They surprised me with tea and cake for my birthday, which was so special. I loved my three days here and will certainly return ☆

We felt completely safe during our two nights at the campsite, and enjoyed tracking rhinos and walking around the property. We were lucky to see rhinos and kudus, and even heard leopards nearby, which made it all the more thrilling. The facilities were well equipped, especially the outdoor kitchen. Staff kept the boiler fire going so we had hot water every morning and afternoon, and were incredibly attentive. A wonderful stay!

I went to Ghaub farm at the end of June for rhino tracking, and it was an amazing experience, mainly thanks to our guide, Rino. He was kind and knowledgeable, and made the outing memorable. He talked about the plants and animals as well as the history of the farm and Namibia. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Reno’s enthusiasm, friendly manner, and love of animals made seeing the beautiful rhinos up close even more special. We had a wonderful time on the rhino tracking tour with him. Thank you, Reno.

Walking through the bush with Rino, I loved hearing what he knew about the plants and animals. His calm energy as we got close to the magnificent rhinos made the experience feel like one of the best of my life. I’ve never felt so connected to nature. Rino looked after my group and me so well, and his presence made the whole thing special. I truly hope to return to Ghaub someday and feel that awe all over again.
