Morning coffee and dinner came with a view of the waterhole right in front of the lodge. We watched eland, springboks, warthogs, nyala, and gno there. Justus and Karla run a top notch place, with friendly staff, clean rooms, and delicious game meat dinners. There is a vegetarian option too, though I wouldn't miss the eland or nyala steaks.

We brought a guest for our last night in Namibia, and they loved it. It feels like home and gave us a real northern Namibian experience. I'd love to camp here too if that were available. Almost hesitant to recommend it because it feels like a place to keep secret. Thank you!

Our camping spot was in the old stable complex, with lovely green grass, and hot water from a donkey. We had all the ablutions to ourselves. We can't comment on the rooms since we camped, but the location worked perfectly on our route to Angola. Everyone was so friendly, from the entrance gate through to the lodge. We decided at the last minute to have dinner and they welcomed us with a smile. Natasha went out of her way to make things work for us. We watched springbuck, Eland, and Wildebeest while having sundowners. It's definitely a jewel in the area, and I could happily stay a couple of days.

The nights were quiet, apart from a few sounds of nature, and the campsite is nicely set back from the road. We spent two nights at Ohange Camp and had a wonderful time. There is a huge stretch of grass and trees around the campsite and lodge. Springbok and impala are easy to spot, and sometimes you see the elands too. The hosts were very nice and helpful.
