We had a very pleasant stay. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. Our room was tidy, clean, and quite spacious. Best of all, the queen bed was a proper one, not two singles pushed together.

The green space around the property helps keep the noise from the main road and nearby small airport from being too bothersome. There’s a restaurant on site with good food, and the location is handy for the new highway and easy airport access.

The owner later sent us a snack platter and a bottle of wine, and the team helped us add extra days, keep the same room, and arrange a very late checkout while we waited to get our vehicle back. We’d broken down and been towed in late on a Sunday, and they picked up on how stressed we were. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and compassionate, and really went the extra mile.

We stayed at Arebbusch Travel Lodge in Windhoek twice, in December 2025 and January 2026. The complex is spacious and beautiful, with good value for money. The evening meals were very good, and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly, though they seemed to take their time. It’s a particularly good choice if you’re setting off on a tour from Windhoek. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and had a microwave, fridge, and hot plate for self-catering. I had dinner at the restaurant, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Breakfast could use a few more choices. The location is ideal for the airports.
