The room looked lovely when I finally found the hotel using Google Maps, and I was ready to settle in after a tiring search. It was fairly tidy compared with places I'd stayed at over the previous few days. Then I was told that an extra towel would cost money, even though the room policy allowed two. There was no fridge either, and a sachet of coffee with a jar of hot water cost #1000 naira. The front desk said that was their standard. While I tried to explain that I'd never been charged for asking for another towel elsewhere, the receptionist laughed at me. It felt unprofessional, with very little basic courtesy. This happened on the 11th -12th October 2025. I hope they improve.

Albertville can't be relied on. We reserved 15 rooms two months in advance for a wedding, but when we arrived, we found out that 9 had been given to a politician that night. Our guests had travelled from all over the world and were left stranded. We had to search for other hotels during the curfew in Ilesha. It was awful, and I'm highly disappointed in their service and integrity. The rooms we could get were below standard too. No fridge, a toilet that didn't flush properly, and not enough hot water. For the hype and similar prices, there are other hotels in ilesha with better service. I'd suggest looking at those.

The buffet breakfast was great, though drinks at the bar cost a lot. The hotel is neat and boutique-style, in a quiet neighborhood, with minimalist rooms that don't have much space. They also need to handle the energy rationing better.

The food was good, and the rooms were okay, though each one seemed to have its own issue. Service was slow whenever we asked for anything, and the restaurant phone rang without anyone picking up, so we had to call reception or go there ourselves. We had to return here after trying another hotel the next day, since this one seems to be the best in Ilesa. Just don't expect Lagos standards. Hotels here don't keep the ACs on in rooms 24/7, and it would've been better if they had told us that from the start.

A good hotel, but there's no fridge.
