I came with a group of 14 for my nephew’s wedding, and it was a terrible experience. The rooms were horrible, full of mosquitoes, the AC didn’t work, and the bathrooms were waterlogged. The locks were awful too. Paint and ceilings are falling apart, and nothing seems maintained. Nobody should have to go there.

The compound has plenty of space for cars, and there’s security. The rooms are roomy, neat, and have AC, while the cheapest one costs ₦7,000, so it’s quite affordable. You can see money went into building the hotel, but it hasn’t been maintained well. Some ACs have no gas, and a few toilets have no light, with no dustbin or mirror in some rooms.

There’s a wide compound for parking, plus a bar and conference halls, and it’s easy to get to. The rooms are big in this large hotel, and the food and room prices are affordable. Still, its standard has honestly fallen from what it used to be.

I gave it one star because that was the lowest option, though it deserved less. The place feels forgotten, with worn out infrastructure. Heavy rain usually floods the access road, and the service is unfriendly. It seems they’re tired of running the business. It’s a faux, just a shadow of its past.
