The included breakfast was decent quality, with an omelette bar, fruit, granola, yogurt, and juices. Staff were nice, which is pretty standard in Nica. We paid $50 a night, and that’s about what the stay felt worth. The pictures were misleading: there are “colonial” and “economy” rooms, but booking through a site didn’t show us which we’d get. We ended up in an economy room, basically hostel-style, with access to nice common areas and an okay pool. The room was mediocre, and the bathroom was very subpar, with water coming from a PVC pipe instead of a real shower head and no hot water. It was mostly just somewhere to sleep. If quiet matters to you, you may want to pay a bit more.

At least the place was clean, but I’d only recommend it if it’s the last place available. The water was off for more than half our stay. They said they’d leave us a bucket so we could flush the toilet, but our bathroom was empty, and we had to ask again. Breakfast was included, though painfully slow: we waited 45 minutes for one order of toast and fruit, and the waiter came back to ask what we wanted because he’d forgotten. They also told us to have dinner elsewhere since they weren’t serving it that night.
