The place is beautiful and the staff are lovely, but the owner made the visit awful. At 6:30pm, my girlfriend and I were finishing our drinks while waiting for our taxi when he appeared and aggressively, impolitely told us to leave at once or we'd meet his German Shepard. This was our first and only interaction with him, ten minutes after staff had told us they were closing but that we could finish our drinks. After that, he screamed at one of his staff members as if she were one of his dogs. It was disgusting to watch, an old white man yelling at a woman that way. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here if you care about who you support.

A lovely place to get away from Granada's heat. There are lots of different spots around the property to relax, the staff are lovely, and the food is excellent. The lake feels like the sea, but without salt getting in your eyes.

I had a great time, whether relaxing or getting active with a swim, kayak, or hike. Daniel knows loads about the area, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful without hovering. During the day, ospreys circle and dive overhead, alongside kingfishers, awards, magpie jays, and motmots. In the evening you hear Pacific screech owls and frogs singing. I'll definitely come back for day trips when I'm back in Nica soon.

I loved my time there. The nature is beautiful and the location is amazing, with top-notch service. The owners, Daniel and Raquel, are very nice, and Daniel the waiter is attentive and always smiling.

Laguna de apoyo is a special place, and I left feeling replenished. Daniel is super friendly and helpful, and the team really looked after us and made it easy to relax.
